Let's Talk Inspiration

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the neglect here in the writing dept.
Today I want to talk about inspiration. What is inspiration, what contributes to it, and what do you do with it?
Inspiration comes from many areas in life. Inspiration is rooted in Latin from the word Inspirare, which roughly translates to "breathes life into"; the idea that external or divine forces are the driving force behind it. The ancient Greeks believed inspiration came from the 9 Muses. Frank Lloyd Wright was inspired by nature and geometry to create his timeless deisgns. Others by history or society or any other number of external forces, natural or supernatural.
To me, inspiration is spiritual. It's the internal being that I wish to share with the world. My inspiration is rooted in my emotions which I express through my art to exhibit in the world. Sometimes it's the simple color of a flower that moves me or the way an apple pie, warm from the oven tantalizes my senses. Creating designs driven by all my inspirations gives me the ultimate release of expression. Seams on a garment placed in extreme precision can denote a vision of order and structure, while draped garments can signify an amorphous and fluid frame of mind.
What about you? What inspires you and what do you do with it? I'd love to know!
