To New Beginnings

Hello all,

Starting something profound is a tough task and a huge undertaking by anyone despite the amount of training or knowledge they may possess. Instead of profound, how about we start a dialogue? Benjamin Hall Designs is born out of an innate curiosity where everything is studied and questioned. It is my hope that here I can open up my mind and share my views on what design means to me and hopefully, create a community where it is debated, scrutinized, and dissected. Let's discuss what design means to you, what elements matter most to you, and see what new outcomes we discover.

Fashion architect Charles James once said, "All my seams have meaning- they emphasize something about the body." This can apply to designs of any variety. Each element on its own has meaning and together they create a greater whole. Sounds almost like a community if you ask me. And that is what design means to me.

So let's start something. Let's start this community and see what shakes out. Feel free to bring up your favorite design, curiosities, or whatever and I'll do the same. Who knows what we will discover?
